Abstract
The real image of aliens – Moghuls and Tatars – and the consequences of their actions have been portrayed in Nafsatol Masdour. Zaidari’s language and expression in Nafsatol Masdour were imagist and illustrative. His imagery and illustrations were ultimately in line with and identical to the school of Imagism. In so doing, high frequency, remarkable compactness, nature, the purpose of creation, and the method of pictures application in Zaidari’s poetic prose are in total accordance with imagist principles. Furthermore, such qualities as glaring frankness, compactness, concision and brevity, objectivity, realness and naturalness of images make the main features of his work. His images possess high topical diversity. Consequently, illustrations from diverse sources such as science of syntax, jurisprudence, logic, medicine, board games, etc. can be easily traced in Nafsatol Masdour. Zaidari puts text at the service of image. This is why possibilities and verbal figurative and literary devices (such as allusion, allegory, repetition, numerical style, alliteration, etc.), novel devices (ambiguity, fittingness, employment, oxymoron, pun, paradox, etc.) and figurative expressions (simile, metaphor, synecdoche, irony, etc.) are used in such as a way that they are either a preamble to the formation of images or part of the process of image-making.
